Tipping on a Cruise

It is not common practice to tip on Hurtigruten ships. However, if you would like to leave gratuities for exceptional service, tip boxes are available in front of the main restaurant or at reception on the last day of the voyage. The money collected from these boxes will be divided equally among all crew members. Hurtigruten requests that passengers do not tip individual crew members during the voyage to ensure that people behind the scenes are included. Gratuities can also be added to your onboard account if that is more convenient.
